When player A has a set Ceasefire and player B summons a monster, player A decides to flip Ceasefire to inflict damage to player B. If player B chains Torrential Tribute to Ceasefire, then all monsters will be destroyed first (because Torrential is chain link 2, thus resolves first) and Ceasefire will cause NO damage as no monsters no longer exist on the field.
