When a monster say that does an effect when "leaves the field" its effect activate/dont activate when:
A card leaves the field when it is returned from the field to the hand or Extra Deck, sent from the field to the Graveyard, or banished from the field. Cards that are used as Xyz Material when performing an Xyz Summon or that detached do not leave the field.
As of September 1st, 2011, when a card is returned from the field to the Main Deck, that card cannot activate their “leaves the field” effect.
Any effect whose condition involves leaving the field will not activate if the card leaves while face-down.
